Dr. Sourav Das

M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D.

Dr. Sourav Das, Assistant Professor of Siliguri B.Ed. College, has completed his Ph.D. from the Rabindra Bharati University. Formerly, he worked as a faculty member at Scottish Church College, Kolkata and he is a guest faculty of North Bengal Nursing College and JIS University. He has published a considerable number of papers in edited volumes, reputed and UGC Care listed journals.

He is also an active member of ALLR, an NGO, Siliguri. He has also acted as a coordinator in various Central and State Governments educational programs. He has published a few books on ‘Looking at Gender through Varying Lenses’, ‘Emerging Trends in Indian Education and Culture’, ‘Assessment of the Learning System’, ‘Sexual Diversity: Theory and Contexts’ etc.
